neighbor recently connected with the owner of a nearly vacant concrete office building with great bones. While market forces have depleted the demand for an aging office structure without the same commitment to open floorplans and natural light visible in modern projects, the cost of demolition and a completely new development would be excessive.

neighbor presents a revamped concrete structure, prodding and patching the historic building selectively to create an engaging architecture. This building will benefit from the robust structure that would otherwise be a waste of embodied carbon and space, repurposing those good bones into a meaningful contribution to the neighborhood.
